Income Tax Planning
The firm of McClure, CPA, P.A. provides traditional income
tax planning services to its clients. The planning services are
provided to individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and
estates. Planning services are performed with the primary
objective of reducing income tax burdens.
Planning techniques used by the firm include the use of
projections prepared prior to the end of the tax year to
determine the need to accelerate, or defer, income and
deductions.
The firm evaluates the use of various entities to determine
the tax efficiencies of each type and determine if tax savings
might result by using a different legal entity. The selection of
the appropriate entity depends upon the client’s intended
business plan along with consideration given to the magnitude of
the client’s expected profit level, use of the funds generated
from operations, financing repayment plans, fringe benefit
programs, the need to build working capital in the business, the
client’s investment objectives, the client’s retirement funding
program, the number of employees, as well as, the client’s cost
of living needs and other sources of taxable income.
The firm is alert to the use of any tax savings provisions
that might be available in the law through special elections,
code sections, regulations or court findings that may have
application to the client.
